This website uses Unicode. Unicode is an international standard supported by Microsoft. 

READ VIETNAMESE

To read vietnamese text in this website you must have the Vietnamese Unicode Fonts installed in your computer. There are 5 free fonts below that you need to load. You need to click on the links one by one.

Tahoma Font (305 kb) -  Microsoft Basic Font, Vietnamese standard font supplied with Win98 osr2 and Office 97

Arial Font (530 kb) - Microsoft TrueType core fonts for the Web

Times New Roman font (501 kb) - Microsoft TrueType core fonts for the Web

Courier New (483 kb) -  Microsoft TrueType core fonts for the Web

Verdana font (343 kb) - Microsoft TrueType core fonts for the Web

For Internet Explorer

  1. In the Tool -> Internet Options -> Fonts, make sure that the Web Page Font and the Plain Text Font are using one of the fonts above.
  2. In the View -> Encoding remove the Auto-Select, then repeat View -> Encoding again to select Unicode (UTF-8)

TYPE IN VIETNAMESE

After the installation of the fonts you can uses these fonts to type in Vietnamese in most softwares but you would need Vietnamese Keyboard Driver to type the accents.

You can load  VpsKeys 4.2 rc2 - Vietnamese Keyboard Driver for Win95-98, ME, NT4, Win2000 and Win XP. You can view VPSKeys User manual online (Vietnamese version, English version)
